The movie "namesake" was mostly true to the written word (not quite the norm with other adaptations) but i still feel it missed the point. I was not able to totally understand whether the director was trying to put more stress on the importance of the name of the "confused" culture that becomes after living long in a foreign country.. all in all a very good movie. <br /><br />If you liked this book then try reading the workings of O.
